Australian Chris Atkinson has won his home event the 2012 Rally Queensland driving an MRF Skoda Fabia  S2000.

Second was Proton's Alister McRae and third on the podium Brian Green from New Zealand.

New Zealander Michael Young won the Junior Cup class, 47 seconds ahead of Japan's Akira Bamba who won the APRC 2WD category.

India's Sanjay Takle won the A6 catergory for the second event in a row.
